The United States Consumer Product Safety Commission has, along with Fisher-Price, announced the voluntary recall
of three models of Fisher-Price infant cradle swings. The models being recalled
are:
- CHM84 Soothing
Savanna Cradle ‘n Swing - CMR40 Sweet
Surroundings Cradle ‘n Swing - CMR43 Sweet
Surroundings Butterfly Friends Cradle ‘n Swing

This recall comes after two reports of the seat peg coming out from under the seat, causing the seat to fall unexpectedly. There have been no injuries reported, but the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission recommends that consumers stop using the swing immediately to avoid any potential harm. About 34,000 units have been recalled. The swings were sold at stores such as buybuyBaby and Target, as well as websites like Amazon, from November 2015 to March 2016. To determine if your swing has been recalled, check the product number, which can be found on the seat underneath the pad.
