Melissa Cavagnaro guides individuals through times of serious family conflict.  She helps clients obtain their highest priorities, while also working to minimize the impact legal proceedings have on a client and their family.

Ms. Cavagnaro has experience successfully counseling clients in matters that go before both Family Court and New York State Supreme Court. 

She serves clients in Family Court matters including: Custody, Visitation, Child Support, and serving as a Court Appointed Attorney for a child.

In State Supreme Court, Ms. Cavagnaro serves clients in matters including: Divorce, Post Judgment Enforcement (including custody, child support, maintenance, and equitable distribution), and Post Judgment Modification (including child support, custody, and maintenance).

Clients benefit from Ms. Cavagnaro’s personalized approach.  She takes time to understand the unique circumstances of each client’s matter and tailors a legal strategy that is best suited to achieve her clients’ objectives
