As a young lawyer, Robert began his career as a Criminal Defense Attorney where he gained extensive trial experience in Local, State and Federal Courts.  He has been lead counsel in highly complex litigations in the States of Delaware, Texas, and New York.  He has argued appeals before both the Federal and State Appellate Courts.  For over a decade, Robert has been utilizing his trial and advocacy skills on behalf of labor unions, benefit funds and employees.  He frequently lectures and prepares written publications on matters including pension, education, training and welfare funds, as well as labor union administration and other issues.  He is widely recognized as an accomplished and experienced attorney, having received awards and designations including Best Lawyers in American and Who’s Who in Law.  Mr. Boreanaz is the chairperson of the firm’s Labor & Employment Law Department.
