Jonathan W. Brown is a partner in the firm's Intellectual Property and Commercial Litigation departments. He focuses his practice in the areas of Intellectual Property litigation, trademark prosecution, licensing disputes and complex litigation matters. Mr. Brown manages international trademark portfolios for several multimedia and entertainment companies, and handles various matters on behalf of clients in both California and New York.

• In a trademark infringement and false endorsement case, obtaining a favorable Jury Verdict and Permanent Injunction in favor of a motion picture company;
• The successful defense of a multimedia company in a multi-million dollar licensing dispute involving a world-wide trademark license and the distribution of video content via mobile devices;
• Obtaining a $475,000 arbitration award on behalf of a Los Angeles film company against a film producer in a breach of contract dispute;
• The successful defense of a Silicon Valley electronics company in a patent licensing dispute;
• The recovery of numerous domain names on behalf of the firm's clients;
• The successful defense of wrongful termination and discrimination claims brought by ex-employees of a multimedia company based in Los Angeles.
